The official visit of the head of NLMK Group took place for the production site of REP Holding at 16 August. Vice-President for energy Sergey Chebotarev and Vice-President for risk management Yevgeny Ovcharov visited Nevsky plant and Electropult plant.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the production competencies of the REP Holding and discuss issues of cooperation in order to improve the efficiency of energy and electrical equipment of NLMK Group.
The meeting was held with the participation of the head of the Department of strategic industrial assets of Gazprombank Arthur Askhatov, and the project Manager of the project management of "GPB – energy effect", Sergey Barsukov.

The delegation was met by President Tagir Nigmatulin, top management of the Holding, as well as General Director of the Nevsky plant Alexey Popkov and General Director of the Electropult plant Valery Neverovsky.
Within the framework of the visit, a bilateral agreement on strategic partnership was signed, which is aimed at developing long-term cooperation in improving the efficiency of power units at NLMK Group sites.

Our joint work on the development of modern solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the equipment will allow to obtain a synergetic effect. On the one hand, a clear goal is defined and the principles of development of the product line of REP Holding for the next five years are formed. On the other hand, NLMK relies in its strategic development plans on a modern, reliable, domestic partner focused on the production of high-performance equipment."

During the visit, NLMK Group representatives got acquainted with the main production lines and production facilities of the Nevsky plant and the Electropult plant.

On Nevsky plant they visited sections of the rotary body, the assembly, the blade production workshop aggregation turbomachinery, as well as an upgraded metallurgical plant. The delegation was presented with modern high-tech machines, test stands, as well as samples of products produced in the framework of the import substitution program with the use of innovative technologies that increase the efficiency and productivity of the equipment.

At the Electropult plant, the guests visited the mechanic and mechanical production, the electrical equipment shop and the shop for the production of block-modular structures. The guests were presented with modern electrical equipment: upgraded complete switchgear, universal low-voltage devices and optimal solutions for the smooth operation of power systems.

Sergey Chebotarev and Evgeny Ovcharov noted the high level of competence of specialists and the organization of production, modern technical equipment of the enterprises of REP Holding, as well as the scale of the projects, and expressed hope for further successful cooperation.

NLMK Group is a strategic customer of JSC "REP Holding" in the segment of the steel industry. The cooperation between Novolipetsk metallurgical works and the Nevsky plant has about 70 years. During this period, the St. Petersburg enterprise has manufactured and installed more than 160 units of large power equipment, more than 60 of them are currently in operation.
