REP Holding has shipped the first set of equipment for Amursky GPP

REP Holding has shipped the first set of equipment for the under-construction Amursky Gas Processing Plant of «Gazprom» (the investor and customer of the Amursky GPP construction project is Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, the construction management is carried out by NIPIGAZ JSC). The equipment has been manufactured within the frames of the contract with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC), acting as an ЕРС-contractor for the construction of booster compressor shops, gas drying and gas cleaning units, gas fractionation plant.

The scope of supply includes a centrifugal compressor, a gas turbine drive for the Gas Pumping Unit Ladoga with a capacity of 32 MW, as well as auxiliary equipment. The equipment is packaged in accordance with a special procedure and dispatched to the construction site in Svobodny town by land transport.

The units have been manufactured at Nevskiy Zavod (production facility of REP Holding) within the framework of the subproject for the construction of booster compressor shops, gas drying and gas cleaning units, gas fractionation plant of the Amursky GPP. The dispatching activities were preceded by successful 72-hours comprehensive tests. At present, six GPU are in production with a total of twelve packages of Ladoga-32 to be supplied to the plant.

GPA-32 «Ladoga» with a capacity of 32 MW is distinguished by high efficiency (36%), considerable service life and low emissions. Tne Amursky GPP will be the largest in Russia and one of the largest natural gas processing plants in the world. Its design capacity will be 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The GPP will also include the world’s largest helium production — up to 60 billion cubic meters per year.
