REP Holding participated actively in the business and technical program of the VI Russian International Energy Forum held in the Cultural and Exhibition Center "Expoforum" on April 25-27. 

RMEF-2018 was held with the participation of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg and the Russian Export Center.

As one of the key business events of the Fuel & Energy Complex, this year's Energy Forum attracted more than 200 exhibitioners from 21 regions of Russia and 12 countries around the world, more than 2500 delegates and 8500 visitors. In the framework of the Forum, more than 30 sessions and round tables were held. 

President of REP Holding Tagir Nigmatulin addressed the plenary session "Sustainable Power Economy as the Basis of the State Vital Activities”, the central event of the Forum. The discussion was participated by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Andrey Cherezov, Director General of LLC "Gazprom Energy Holding" Denis Fedorov, Director General of PJSC "Power Machines" Yuri Petrenja, General Director of PJSC "Lenenergo" Andrey Ryumin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the "Council of Energy Producers” Association Alexander Panin. The experts analyzed the overall status and trends of the Russian energy sector development, discussing the issues related to equipment upgrade, import substitution, alternative energy. Particular attention was paid to the key results of the import substitution in the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex.

REP Holding President stressed the need for single policy in terms of production and service of gas turbines, as well as the importance of public funding in the sphere of power engineering and new developments. "To date, 65% of export gas is transmitted through our equipment," said Tagir Nigmatulin, noting that the key customers and the State should set the tasks for machine builders.

REP Holding Vice President of the Production Development and Optimization Alexey Gorin participated in the Conference "Import Substitution and Localization in the Fuel & Energy Complex” where experts discussed these processes in the industry. He presented a unique experience of the company by the example of the localization project for MS5002E gas turbine which is part of the new generation gas-pumping unit "Ladoga-32", highlighting the interim results and future tasks. Within the framework of the project, in 2017, REP Holding mastered the production of the most sophisticated high-tech components of the MS5002E turbine. The project was implemented in close cooperation with domestic enterprises and in record-short time. In fact, within a 1 year the following was manufactured: a prototype rotor of the high pressure turbine axial compressor, a full set of compressor blades, while manufacture of turbine blades and combustion chamber elements is in its final stage. In addition, within the framework of the project, REP Holding specialists independently developed and manufactured a set of GTU bearings using Russian brands of materials, as well as the automated control system of the GTU, which will make it possible to stop using similar products of foreign manufacturers.

REP Holding Technical director Mikhail Tyukhtyaev moderated the Conference "3D Engineering, Automated and Robotized Production in the paradigm of INDUSTRY 4.0" held within the framework of the International Exhibition “Welding-2018” accompanying the RMEF. 

Also, REP Holding presented its equipment at the Jubilee 25-th International specialized exhibition "Power and Electrical Engineering -2018" held within the framework of the Forum. As part of the Russian Export Center exposition REP Holding presented innovative projects in the power engineering and its new developments in the production of high-tech equipment for the energy industry and integrated power grid.

At the exhibition stand REP Holding presented modern electrical equipment produced at REP Holding manufacturing site “Plant Electropult": modernized packaged switchgears, general-purpose low voltage devices and optimal solutions for uninterrupted operation of electrical power systems. Also, at the stand of Water Cluster REP Holding presented a sample of the management system through participation in the innovation project of integrated water treatment.

According to the existing tradition, REP Holding took on the role of a partner in the technical program of the Forum. On the third day of the RMEF the delegates had a unique opportunity to visit the production sites of the company - Nevskiy Zavod and Plant Electropult. Within the framework of special excursions they could see the main production areas, manufacturing lines and test facilities, as well as innovative developments of REP Holding enterprises.
