REP Holding and Engineering Center of SPbPU discussed the cooperation

REP Holding delegation headed by Tagir Nigmatulin held a working meeting with the leadership of CompMechLab Engineering Centre of St. Petersburg Peter the Great Polytechnic University. The meeting was held on November 20 in the premises of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Institute of SPbPU.

The parties discussed possible areas of cooperation in the framework of implementation of the Road Map of "Technet" STI and the project "Factories of the Future", as well as topical issues of digital transformation of business models and business processes of the high-tech design and high-tech production.

The REP Holding delegation included Vice President of Technological Development Franco Rosatelli, Vice President of Production Optimization and Development Alexey Gorin, Director General of Nevskiy Zavod Alexey Popkov, Vice President of Human Resource Management Natalia Moskaleva, Director of IT Department Inna Senchugova, Director of the Engineering Center Sergei Meshkov, Technical Director of the Holding company Mikhail Tyukhtyaev, Technical Director of Nevskiy Zavod Sergey Korolenko and others.

During the meeting, Sergei Meshkov told about the current projects of the company and perspectives for development in mastering the latest design and manufacturing technology of the modern power equipment. Inna Senchugova presented the innovative products of the Holding and possible areas of cooperation with the SPbPU CompMechLab Engineering Center.

On the part of the SPbPU CompMechLab Engineering Centre the Pro-Rector on advanced projects, Leader-co-Head of the working group "Technet" STI Alexey Borovkov shared experience of the Centre cooperation with the domestic and world leaders in high-tech industries, presented resources, expertise and innovative approaches of the Centre in designing competitive high-tech products of new generation, told about the implemented approach to staff training under the program "Engineers Training within the Framework of Implementation of Special-Order R&D” and about implementation of the Road Map of "Technet" STI and megaproject "Factories of the Future". Also, the Engineering Center specialists presented the results of a number of projects implemented on the CML-Bench platform.

Based on the results of the meeting the areas for joint activities were identified in the field of power engineering and project implementation within the framework of the National Technological Initiative.
