REP Holding specialists carried out technical management of repair work of the main technological equipment of JSC"Grodno Azot", the largest chemical plant of the Republic of Belarus.

The overhaul of the process air turbo-compressor unit consisting of steam turbine К-15-41-1 and compressor K-1290 was performed in the ammonia production workshop. The work package included replacement of steam turbine flow passage, repair of bearings, auxiliary equipment and control valves. Also, high-speed balancing of the steam turbine rotor was carried out at Nevskiy Zavod site.

After successful completion of 72-hour tests the turbo-compressor unit was accepted for commercial operation. The work was performed within the tight timeline of the scheduled shutdown of JSC «Grodno Azot» production facilities.
The JSC "Grodno Azot" management highly appreciated the competence of REP Holding chief staff, efficient response in providing technical support and expressed interest in the partnership development. Currently, the Engineering center of the Holding is working on a number of proposals for modernization of the chemical plant main equipment.
