«REP Holding» took part in the VIII International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM-2017", which was held from 10 to 13 July in Ekaterinburg. This is one of the largest events in Russia, dedicated to discoveries in the field of machine-engineering, industrial automation, technology and equipment. In 2017 the exhibition INNOPROM confirmed the status of main platform for the leaders of industrial sectors – on the exhibition space of 50 thousand square meters the stands of more than 600 companies from 20 countries of the world were built, 95 countries sent their trade and industry delegations to INNOPROM-2017, the partner country of this year became Japan.

The exhibition opening was attended by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In his welcome speech, the President noted companies introducing innovative technologies: "It is very important to see their actual efficiency and practical effects, such as improving working conditions, increasing its productivity, reducing costs, modern level of management and, ultimately, increasing the competitiveness of domestic products, goods and services ".

Within the first day of INNOPROM-2017 exhibition, the main strategic session "Smart production: models competition vs technology competition" was held. "Today we are direct participants of the biggest technological revolution. Digital production, services, smart environments have already won a 5% stake in the world's largest economies, and experts predict further development of this direction," said the Minister of Russian Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, speaking at the main strategic session.

"REP Holding" took part in the exhibition within the framework of the collective exposition of the Gazprombank Industrial Group. At the stand the enterprises of the group presented their advanced developments and competencies, representatives of "REP Holding" presented up-to-date developments in the field of production of modern gas-pumping and power generation units, as well as new types of equipment for LNG projects.

A special emphasis was made on the presentation of the Vysotsk LNG project, in the implementation of which many enterprises of the Gazprombank industrial group are involved. For the purpose of this project, in 2017 for the first time in Russia REP Holding has developed and manufactured a mixed-refrigerant compressor, which will take a key place in the technological chain for the production of liquefied natural gas.

As a part of the exhibition, the Holding’s management held negotiations with Russian and foreign partners, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and government authorities on cooperation and implementation of projects on localization of high-tech equipment production, as well as the development of Russian competitive technologies.
