Cooperation negotiated between the principals of REP Holding and PJSC Federal Test Center

On November 12, 2015 principals of PJSC Federal Test Center (part of PJSC ROSSETI) visited one of REP Holding's manufacturing sites, namely JSC Plant Electropult. The visit was organized by the directorate of the coordination center of Saint Petersburg cluster of innovation development in power engineering and industry – LLC EnergoMarket.

General director Sergey Titov and technical policy director Andrey Mamontov represented the Federal Test Center, while Nataliya Andrianova and Elexey Turlov were on behalf of Saint Petersburg cluster of innovation development in power engineering and industry. The delegation was welcomed by general director of Plant Electropult Viktor Lesnykh, deputy general director for marketing and development Alexey Ruzavin and REPH industry department director Alexander Ermilov.

During the F2F meeting the parties covered the points of interaction between the companies to design a federal electrical equipment test center, a project launched in June 2015.

'In power engineering Plant Electropult is reputed as a manufacturer of reliable electrical equipment. We are definitely interested in partnership with this company. Our interaction could be another milestone in implementing the Russian strategy to promote domestic manufacturers of electrical equipment and to strengthen their positions both in Russian and global markets,' said Sergey Titov, general director of PJSC FTC.

The parties discussed the prospects of designing a test bench in the FTC for testing gas and steam turbines as well as participation of JSC REPH in power supply project of the FTC to be provided with its own power generation capacity based on turbines made in Nevskiy Zavod, REPH second manufacturing site. Besides, the attendees referred to research and production projects within the development program of Saint Petersburg industrial cluster.
The visit was finished with a guided tour around Plant Electropult. The guests saw modern production capacities of the plant, main process lines for production of a wide range of products, as well as all the stages of the production cycle of electric equipment -  from raw material fabrication area to packing area of end products.

'Cooperation with the Federal test Center is of strategic importance for Plant Electropult and we are ready for an all round participation in the FTC design project. We have all the necessary tools for this: experience, competences, modern production capacities. The location of the company close to the designed site can be regarded by the FTC as an additional argument in favor of long term partnership with us', said Viktor Lesnykh, director of Plant Electropult.

JSC Federal Test Center is an affiliated company of JSC ROSSETI and was founded on November 21, 2014. On September 22, 2015 the Government of Saint Petersburg awarded a status of a strategic investment project to the Federal Electrical Equipment Test Center. The FTC is planned to be developed through four competence centers: test center, certification centers, strategic and innovation development and engineering centers. Activities of the company shall favour faster growth of industrial research and promote domestic manufacturers in the global market for energy independence of Russia.
