REP Holding has Presented Advanced Projects in Construction of Modern Power Units

The focus of the first day was on the issues related  to interaction of the energy industry entities,  specific character of in-house generation in the oil and gas sector and the petrochemical industry, the prospects for development of distributed generation in Russia.

The second day of the Forum was dedicated to the introduction of distributed generation in Russian regions, financing and cost reduction of such projects, touched upon were also the issues of efficiency when using renewable energy sources.

The audience interest was attracted especially by master- classes and reports of  the experts about practical experience in implementation of the in-house generation. REP Holding took an active part in the business program and held its own  master - class on  "New Technologies and Integrated Solutions for  Construction of  Power Generating Units”. Within the framework of the master class Sergei Pokrovsky, Director of the Advanced Projects for Power Generation Department, highlighted the issues of improving the efficiency and reliability of gas turbine units;  presented were also modern technologies to create high-performance power plants based on advanced gas turbines. It was shown how it is possible to build  high-performance power plants in  the range of 16 to 120 MW  on the basis of industrial gas turbines made in Russia.

"Until recently the aero-derivative gas turbines were in the lead in the market of medium power plants. To date, the Russian power engineering  enterprise  "REP Holding”  has set up  licensed production of a wide range of  industrial gas turbines and offers now to the market the power units based on them in the power range covering the needs of a large number of industrial enterprises and CHP plants for distributed energy. The power equipment supplied is based on gas turbines manufactured by Close Co. “REPH”  under   license agreements with the world leading developers of gas turbines,"  said Sergei Pokrovsky.

In parallel with the Conference working  was an exhibition  presenting  the up-to-date generating and energy-saving equipment operating also on organic fuels, the uninterrupted power supply systems and service equipment for small – size  generation.

During the two days of its work the Forum was attended by over 400 delegates from 20 regions of Russia, including managers and chief power engineers  from such  companies as Lukoil, Rosneft, Russian railways, Akron, SIBUR, Gazprom-Neft, Uralvagonzavod and other representatives of major Russian and foreign companies.
