«REP Holding» has signed an agreement with Solar Turbines Incorporated for localization of a 22 MW gas turbine unit

On August 2013 «REP Holding» signed an agreement with Solar Turbines to localize a gas turbine unit rated at 22 MW. The Agreement was signed by President of «REP Holding» Igor Starinkov and President of Solar Turbines, Thomas Pellette.

Rep Holding will localize production of Solar’s advanced product designs for the construction and modernization of strategic gas industry facilities within the frames of the Long-Term Cooperation Program between «REP Holding» and «Gazprom» aimed to expand the capacity range of the gas-pumping units, as well as for the projects of the energy and fuel providers in Russia.

According to the cooperation agreement, production of the gas turbine units will occur at the site of «REP Holding» - «Nevskiy Zavod», in St. Petersburg. Localization will include the latest technology in design, Lean manufacturing, and product quality methodologies.
