On the 17th of September «REP Holding» organized the familiarization tour around the production site of «Nevskiy Zavod» for graduate of school № 434. The tour was held within the frame of the project of supporting fund of youth initiative «North Capital» for the organization of open lessons in general education institutions and doors open days on the objects of industrial activities in Saint-Petersburg. This project is held with the support of the Industrial Policy Committee and innovations of Saint-Petersburg Government.
The main purpose of the realized project is to increase the prestige of working professions among the rising generation, to attract young people to the industry enterprises of Saint-Petersburg, anti-deficiency of working professions, as well as the creation of a personnel reserve.
Traditionally the tour around the plant began from the museum, where the visitors were told about the rich history of the company and the main stages of development. Graduates accompanied by General Director in Deputy of «Nevskiy Zavod» Alexey Shubin visited the main production sites – rotor production, hull production, assembling production, gas turbine testing bench, unitization area, and also the upgraded metallurgical production . Pupils were able to get acquainted with the work of the modern automated machines, to study the stages of production of complex units and organization principals of the organization of production processes on the example of one of the leading power engineering enterprise in Russia, which caused the great interest among young people.
Except that, the pupils were able to get acquainted with the working professions that are actual on the manufacturing, attended the workplaces and understood the specific of the plant jobs.
«REP Holding» plans to continue the participation in the Fund program on the basis of the long-term cooperation. The enterprise is ready to receive the new groups of school pupils, the students of the vocational school and technical universities and institutes.Back to the news
