CJSC “REPH” stated on the fourth International Maritime Defence Show on its readyness to provide vessels with electric propulsion complex system.
From 24th to 28th of June 2009 the employees of CJSC “REPH” and affiliated company CJSC “Scientific and Production Center “Shipping Electric Propulsion” (SPC “Shipping Electric Propulsion”) took part in the fourth International Maritime Defednce Show (IMDS-2009), performed in Saint-Petersburg in exhibition center “Lenexpo”, harbor.
Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation acted as initiator of IMDS-2009, with participation of Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation, Ministry of External Affairs of Russian Federation, Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia), Administration of Saint-Petersburg and Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Rosoboronexport”.

In 2008 “REP Holding” set up CJSC “Scientific and Production Center “Shipping Electric Propulsion” for the purpose of developing any supplying equipment for shipbuilding branch.
Special feature of CJSC “REPH” is in complex approach to any problem solution.
The main proposal of “REP Holding” is complex approach for vessel electric propulsion, which contains propulsion motors with regulated frequency drive, ship dynamic positioning system, electric room equipment, control systems. Along with that SPC “Shipping Electric Propulsion” proposes complex solutions for the following platforms: electric room equipment and automated process control systems.
According to Rastoropov A. V., Deputy Director of “Shipbuilding” Department: “The exhibition was successful. Lots of participant showed interest to our complex products. I believe, that in the near future we will get contracts”.
As noted Andrey Grigoriev, General Director of SPC “Shipping Electric Propulsion”,- “We held a number of negotiations during this exhibition with such companies like JSC “Shiprepair Center ”Zvezdochka”, JSC “Associated Shipbuilding Corporation” and others. Our proposal on supplying in particular complex solutions is unique for Russia, and own modern production facilities will enable to meet requirements of our customers of shipbuilding branch. I would like to bring into focus possibility of application of new GPU-32 gas turbine “Ladoga” (produced under the license of GE Oil & Gas Nuovo Pignone with complete technology transfer) in shipbuilding. We are on final stage of this project creation, and it is now clear, that such system will have significant advantages in comparison with current systems, providing vessels control and motion”.Back to the news
