REP Holding presented the main exhibit at the Gas Forum 2018

REP Holding took part in the VIII St. Petersburg international Gas Forum, which was held from 2 to 5 October at the Expoforum Convention and exhibition center.

Within the framework of the Forum, REP Holding took part in the III specialized exhibition "import Substitution in the gas industry" organized by PJSC Gazprom, where it presented a unique project that became one of the striking examples of successful cooperation of Russian industrial enterprises, science, business and the state within the framework of import substitution and localization of advanced world technologies. The gas turbine unit produced by REP Holding with a capacity of 32 MW has become the center of the exhibition-the largest exhibit.

In order to transport and install a gas turbine unit weighing about 60 tons in Expoforum, REP Holding specialists together with the Gas Forum Directorate developed a separate technical project. High-tech GTU, having the best economic and operational characteristics, is used as part of the Ladoga-32 gas pumping unit for the transportation of natural gas through the main gas pipelines. Among the objects of delivery are compressor stations of gas pipelines "Bovanenkovo – Ukhta, Power of Siberia", the "Turkish stream", "Nord stream", and the Novoportovskoye oil and gas condensate field, the Amur gas processing plant, "Sakhalin-2", etc.

Together with the gas turbine unit REP holding presented at the exhibition a replaceable flow part of the centrifugal compressor RTM 32-05-2,6-28, which is also manufactured at the production site of the Holding – Nevsky plant under the import substitution program. The design of the replaceable flow part provides for the operation of the compressor at the outlet gas temperature up to 150° C. the service life, taking into account the average full service life – at least 40 years.

The equipment presented at the exhibition will be delivered as part of the gas pumping units to the Slavyanskaya compressor station, which will become the starting point of the Nord stream -2 gas pipeline.

In total, 50 domestic research and production enterprises and organizations with 200 samples of high-tech and import-substituting products were presented at the 2000 square meters of the corporate exhibition "import Substitution in the gas industry".

‘The exhibits shown here,’ Alexey Miller said, ‘are truly impressive. We are witnessing the front edge of the global technology and innovations in gas industry. Equipment and technology featured here not only comply with the most advanced standards but outrun them by one or two generations forward.’

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Director Of the Department of machine tool and investment engineering of the Ministry of industry and trade Oleg Tokarev and other guests of honor also visited the stand with the equipment of REP Holding.

Within the framework of the forum Congress program, REP Holding representatives took part in a series of conferences and round tables. The President of REP Holding Tagir Nigmatulin addressed the meeting on issues of technological development of JSC "Gazprom" in the section "CNG and processing." In his report, he spoke about the experience of designing and manufacturing the first Russian centrifugal compressor of mixed refrigerant K-905-71-1C for medium-tonnage LNG production.

"For the further development of the domestic compressor industry in the field of natural gas liquefaction, the development of REP Holding is of strategic importance, - said Tagir Nigmatulin, - this will create a Russian technology for liquefying natural gas, increase the share of the use of high-tech domestic equipment in the construction of medium and large-capacity plants, reduce dependence on the service programs of foreign producers."

As part of the conference "new products and production capabilities of enterprises – industrial assets of Gazprombank for the oil and gas industry", Vice President for optimization and development of production Alexey Gorin presented the successful and unique experience of REP Holding on localization of the MS5002E gas turbine unit, which is part of the new generation of "Ladoga -32", highlighted the current results and objectives for the next 2018.

"The project has no analogues, - said Alexey Gorin, - because in our country so far there was no experience of localization of the hot part of industrial gas turbines. The presence of a full set of technical documentation allows to achieve 100% localization".

Vice-President of sales REP Holding Kitanov Maxim in his presentation, "Prospective scenarios for the development of domestic technologies in the field of power engineering. Best practices and new projects of RAP Holding" spoke about the company's promising products, focusing on proposals for small generation and metallurgy.

At the round table “CSA-2 (capacity supply agreement): any good in waiting for technological breakthrough? Professional community’s outlook” Maxim Kaitanov stated that the REP Holding considers localization as a stepping stone to creating innovative Russian equipment. He noted that REP holding intends to use the competencies that it develops within the framework of localization to create its own Russian competitive energy equipment on the world market. But for success, according to the expert, the synergy of the state, science and industry is necessary.

The specialists of "REP Holding" Alexander Yakovlev and Dmitry Mordovchenko together with S2M representative Askar Gubaidullin presented the report "Experience of implementation of AMP in the compressor equipment of JSC "REP holding": from production to new solutions" at the round table "Promising solutions and new developments in the field of magnetic suspension systems of rotary machines".

REP Holding has traditionally been a partner of the technical program of the Forum. On the final day of the SPIEF, October 5, the delegates were given an excursion to the main power machine - building site of the REP Holding-Nevsky Plant.

The delegates visited the main production sites, production lines and test stands, as well as got acquainted with the history of the Nevsky plant and new developments of REP Holding for energy and oil and gas industry. The tour was attended by representatives of 25 companies. Delegates noted the high level of organization of production and modern technical equipment of production sites.

VIII Saint Petersburg international Gas Forum was supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Government of Saint Petersburg, JSC Russian Export Center, Russian Gas Association, Natural Gas Vehicle Association (NGV Italy).

Traditionally, the SPIEF has become a meeting place for leaders of the gas community, investors, heads of government agencies and ministries, top managers of world gas companies, well-known industry experts and scientists. This year the Forum was attended by representatives of 50 countries – 15% more than in 2017.

Within the VII international Congress of oil and gas industry specialists more than 90 business events were held: plenary sessions, conferences, round tables, closed meetings, field technical excursions. The participants paid special attention to the issues of energy security, gas motor fuel, oil and gas chemistry, import substitution in the oil and gas sector, gas distribution, gas consumption and other issues of the industry.
