Plant Electropult became the winner of the best technology competition in the framework of the Russian Energy Forum

Plant Electropult (REP Holding’s production facility) took part in the competition for the best technology, equipment, products and scientific development, which was held in the framework of the Russian Energy Forum. The biggest event of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the fuel and energy sector was held in Ufa from October 23 to 26.

The competition was organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan in order to identify the most power-saving, efficient and energy-intensive types of equipment, to promote the production of high-quality products and their introduction at enterprises.

Alexey Karpukhin, Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Respublic of Bashkortostan, acted as Chairman of the competition commission. The competition commission also included representatives of leading Bashkir power companies – LLC Bashkirenergo, JSC Bashkir Power Grid Company, LLC Bashkir Generation Company. More than 60 companies took part in the competition.

The low-voltage package switchgear “Sphera-N” designed to receive and distribute the power of three-phase AC electrical voltage of 220/380/660 V with a frequency of 50 Hz, as well as to control equipment and protect it from short circuits and overloads, was presented for competition. The main advantage of “Sphera-N” is its versatility, the ability to use components of both domestic and foreign suppliers, as well as the structure design with sliding modules. According to the implementation of the state program on import substitution, the new equipment is manufactured entirely of Russian-made materials with a focus on components and hardware of domestic manufacturers.

“Sphera-N” is successfully operated at facilities of nuclear power and oil and gas industry, Currently more than 300 pieces of equipment have been manufactured.

According to the results of the competition the Plant Electropult received the 1st degree diploma in the nomination “Low-voltage and high-voltage equipment”.

Within the framework of the exhibition exposition “Energy of the Ural” REP Holding made presentation on its new developments in the field of high-tech equipment production for the power generation industry and the electric grid complex. Advanced technologies for the construction of power generating units based on gas and steam turbines, integrated solutions for the modernization of TPP, as well as import substitution projects in the production of modern and reliable electrical equipment for the oil and gas and energy sectors, for the facilities of industrial and residential sectors, were presented.

At the stand there was presented modern electrical equipment manufactured at the production site of REP Holding – Plant Electropult: updated switchgear К-207, multi-purpose low-voltage device “Sphera-N”, a promising project for the supply of a turnkey 110/6 kV modular complete transformer substation.

The exhibition “Energy of the Ural” was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Farhad Samedov, First Deputy Chairman of the of the Energy Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Igor Aransky, Director of the State Energy Policy Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Kulapin, Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexey Karpukhin, Deputy Director of Machinery Construction and Investment Engineering Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Tokarev and other officials.

Representatives of the Plant “Electropult” and REP Holding held a series of negotiations with customers and design institutes in the matter of current and future regional projects. In particular, the subject of discussion with the Bashkir Generating Company and Ufavodokanal was the supply of package switchgears.

This year the Energy Forum attracted 120 exhibitors from 24 regions of Russia and 7 countries of the world, over 2300 delegates and 7500 visitors. Within the framework of the forum 25 business events were held. The forum is arranged with the support and participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
