From 7 to 10 October  REP Holding became a participant of the IV St. Petersburg International Gas Forum which was held in the new Congress-and-Exhibition Center "EXPOFORUM".  The Forum brought together more than 1,500 participants from 25 countries, representatives of the world's leading oil and gas companies being among the main guests.

The Gas Forum united a number of specialized exhibition and business events representing  current trends and new projects in the gas industry. The key topics of the Forum were:  development of innovative technologies in the oil and gas sector, development of industry in the Russian Far East, entry into the markets of the Pacific Ocean and Asia countries. The discussion of the current issues of the industry development was participated by representatives of the world gas companies, leading industry experts, representatives of the Federal and Regional authorities, investors, developers of innovative solutions and equipment suppliers.
Within the frames of the Forum held was the Second Specialized Exhibition "InGas  Stream 2014 - Innovations in the Gas Industry” where  REP Holding within a joint stand with the Association of the new equipment producers “New Technologies of Gas Industry” presented its innovative projects and solutions for the power generation  industry.

The REP Holding stand  presented  the high-tech gas-pumping units (GPA and EGPA) of  different power rating with improved ecological characteristics and high efficiency, new generation gas turbine units rated at 16 and 22 MW, the active magnetic bearing system, and a wide range of electrical equipment.
Advanced technologies and innovative projects for the equipment in the field of oil refining, compression and transport of natural and associated gas were presented, information was provided on the integrated solutions for construction of power generating units on the basis of gas and steam turbines.  Also, REP Holding specialists shared their successful experience in localization of production and development of advanced foreign technologies, as well as methods to improve economic efficiency and experience in  production of  gas-compressor equipment.

The joint exposition of the Association presented the stands of the largest  Russian industrial Manufacturers of the equipment for gas industry, such as OAO "ODK - Gas Turbines", ZAO "Iskra-Aviagaz”, OAO «Kazan Motor-Building Production Association", OAO "Volgogradneftemash”, ZAO "PLAKART", OAO "Borkhimmash ", ZAO "Tyazhpromarmatura" and others.

On the opening day of the Forum the REP Holding stand was visited by Gazprom Board Chairman Alexei Miller and Saint Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko who, together with President of REP Holding Igor Starinkov, discussed the production capacities of the Holding, new developments and implemented solutions for the power generation industry, as well as options for supply of  new power rating gas equipment to Gazprom. Alexei Miller assessed positively the operation of the GPA-32 "Ladoga" gas-pumping units installed at the compressor stations of OAO “Gazprom” gas mains and discussed with Igor Starinkov the prospects for expanding  the  range of gas equipment supplied by REP Holding within the frames of the strategic partnerships program.

On the second day of the Exhibition at the stand of the Association the members of the Association met with  Argentine Industry Minister Debora Giorgi and  representatives of the major Argentine energy companies. REP Holding specialists  presented to the participants of the meeting the key competences of the Holding, a wide range of the products manufactured,  told about new technologies and developments for implementation of package supply of high-tech power equipment.
Gas Forum 2014 brought together the leading gas companies and key partners in implementation of  major projects in the oil and gas sector and  became an effective platform for constructive dialogue between the authorities and business, manufacturers and major energy companies, becoming a strategic platform for  presentation of new technological solutions and creation  of  long-term partnership relations.
