In the period from 29 to 30, October, in Moscow, in the premises of «Gazprom VNIIGAS» held was  V International Scientific-Technical Conference and Exhibition  “GTS-2013- Gas Transportation Systems: Present and Future". REP Holding  takes part in this business event every year and  this year the company  experts made reports and presentations of advanced  projects and products at the exhibition stand.

The Conference was dedicated to the development and operation of gas transportation systems in Russia and abroad,  creation of new- generation large-scale gas transportation projects, as well as specific features of technical solutions while creating  compressor stations and gas cooling stations. Representatives of the leading Russian and foreign companies, major design institutes, subsidiaries of OAO “Gazprom”, developers, manufacturers and consumers of gas transportation equipment became the participants of the Exhibition and Conference.

The Conference program was presented by five sections.  Addressed were such important aspects as the gas trunk line transportation technology, engineering, construction and operation of compressor stations, management  of the technical state and integrity of gas transportation systems and many other. Specialists of the Institute of Power Engineering and Electrotechnics which is part of  REP Holding  presented in their reports achievements and proposals of the Holding in the manufacture and testing of gas-pumping  equipment. Ivan Prygaev, Deputy Head of the GPU and TCU Engineering Department , made a report on  the Tests of  Gas-Turbine Driven GPA at the Test Beds  of Close Co.  “REPH" and on  Site. Alexander Yakovlev, Project Chief Engineer,  dedicated  his report to the current state of design, manufacture and operation of complete electrically-driven  gas-pumping  units (EGPA) produced by REP Holding .

At the REP Holding exhibition stand the participants of the event could  familiarize themselves with a broad range of power equipment and gas-pumping units of different power rating produced by the enterprises of the Holding, with advanced  projects in the development of gas transportation systems; a number  of business meetings and negotiations was also held.

The Exhibition and Conference have become an effective platform for exchange of experience and constructive interaction of designers, manufacturers and consumers of gas transportation equipment.
