«REP Holding» – participant of International Maritime Defense Show (IMDS-2011)
June, 29th – July 3rd 2011 the biggest in Russia naval construction exhibition International Maritime Defense (IMDS-2011) is taking place in Saint-Petersburg in «Lenexpo» exhibition complex. The exhibition contractor is Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the support of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Service for Military and Technical Co-operation, Government of Saint-Petersburg, FSUE «Rosoboronexport».
International Maritime defense Show is being held for the fifth time. On the exhibition the leading domestic manufactures and planners of the marine and naval engineering, equipment and armament.

On the exhibition centre «REP Holding» presents information on innovation products on the shipbuilding and boatbuilding branches. The keen interest raised around the power unit of the ship frequency converter of the marine performance, which was presented on the bench. During five days the leading specialist of CJSC «SPC «Shipping Electric Propulsion» and CJSC «IPM&E» provided the continuous operation of the bench, gave the consultation for the visitors of the bench, arranged working meetings and matters. More than 300 specialists of the branch of various levels visited our bench.
The new developments of Holding in the area of shipping electric propulsion systems, shaft generator installations, new generation of thruster electric drives were very interested among the visitors.
As part of the IMDS has passed a series of meetings with representatives of leading organizations in the industry. From CJSC «REPH» during the official meetings took part General Director of CJSC «SPC «Shipping Electric Propulsion» Andrey Grigoriev and Shipbuilding Department Director German Basin. According the meetings’ results the following agreements and protocols were signed, in the near future on the base of these documents the development and manufacturing contracts for the ship equipment of new generation shall be concluded.
For the active participation in Maritime Defense Show Holding was awarded on Diploma from exhibition contractors.
