The exhibition and the conference related to the gas turbines and aircraft engines ASME TURBO EXPO was held from 11th till 15th of June, 2012 in Copenhagen. This exhibition is starting every year since 1954 alternatively in Europe and in USA.
In this year the event was organized by the International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI), the technical institute of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), under the auspices of the leading world-wide turbine designers and manufacturers Pratt & Whitney, GE (Aviation, Oil & Gas), Siemens, Alstom, Rolls-Royce, MAN Diesel & Turbo, Dresser-Rand.
The exhibition ASME TURBO EXPO 2012 introduced the leading world-wide manufacturers of the gas turbines and the aircraft engines, the equipment suppliers and the service companies, designers and manufacturers of the power-generating equipment and technologies, as well as the information and scientific institutes, the government and military agencies, the design and engineering companies.
The conference ASME TURBO EXPO attracted about 2500 representatives of the world-known gas turbine technologies’ designers and scientific research agencies. Cand.Sc. (Engineering) Ivanov Sergey Anatolyevich, Director of the Reliability Department of the Institute Of Power Machine - Building And Electrotechnics (the subsidiary enterprise of «REP Holding»), made a session on Fatigue Strength and Metal Condition in the Context of Gas Turbine Buckets Life Extension on behalf of «REP Holding».
Attendants of the Congress made about 300 technical sessions dedicated to the practical issues encountered by the turbine unit designers, manufacturers and users.Back to the news
