«REP Holding» concluded the equipment supply contract of 14 gas-pumping units for CS «Russkaya» of the main gas-pipeline «South Stream»

On the 25th of April 2012 «REP Holding» and «Gazprom Komplekt» concluded the equipment supply contract of 14 gas-pumping units «Ladoga-32» for World’s № 1 CS «Russkaya» of the main gas-pipeline «South Stream».

The designed CS «Russkaya» will be the lead compressor station of the marine division of main gas-pipeline «South Stream». This station will be built in Anapa district, the Krasnodar Territory and will be the most powerful in the world. The designed power of the station is 448 MW.

This is the second huge equipment supply contract of the modern GPU-32 «Ladoga» manufactured by «REP Holding» for «GAZPROM» objects. The first equipment supply contract of 19 units for reconstructed objects and new construction of main gas-pipeline «Bovanenkovo – Ukhta» was concluded in June 2009. GPU-32 «Ladoga» in based on the licensed industrial turbine MS 5002E, all these gas-pumping units successfully work on main gas-pipeline «Bovanenkovo – Ukhta» objects.

In February 2012 the department of competitive bidding management of «Gazprom» made the conclusion of the choosing of main technological equipment supplier for the designed CS «Russkaya» of the main gas-pipeline «South Stream». «REP Holding» was announced the winner of the tender for gas-pumping units supply to provide the gas delivery for marine division of main gas-pipeline.

The expert evaluation commission included the representatives of the department of project management of «Gazprom», the department of transportation, underground storage and gas usage of «Gazprom», the representatives of LLC PeterGaz, «Gazprom Komplekt», Corporate Security Service of «Gazprom» and 2012 the department of competitive bidding management of «Gazprom». According the results of the regarding proposals, conclusions and recommendations of the experts, the commission decided that the proposal of «REP Holding» was chosen as the best one.

According the terms of the contract the first 7 units will be supplied to CS «Russkaya» in 2013, the next 7 units in 2015.
