On the bench of exhibition of OJSC Gazprom signed the agreement between General Electric International Inc. and CJSC "REPH" on the technological transfer of the gas turbine FR9E 130 MW. During the signing of the agreement Vice-Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Gazprom" Alexandr Medvedev and Vice-Chairman of the low house of the Russian Federation Valery Yazev were presented.
The gas turbine FR9E 130 MW will be used in power "Gazprom" projects in Russia and abroad: in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The president of "REPH Holding" Gennady Lokotkov said: "We have successful work experience with GE on the technology development of MS5002E turbines of 32 MW during the past two years. And the first nineteen units will be delivered to the objects of "Gazprom": compressor stations “Vavozhskaya”, "Gryazovets” and the compressor stations of the main gas pipeline “Bavonenkovo – Ukhta” in November 2009 and October 2011.
Valery Yazev noted that today's signing of the contract is important for the development of Russian power plant industry, a partnership of two leaders of the power-plant industry gives new opportunities in major energy projects in Russia and consistent policy of the state in this area.
Alexandr Medvedev noted that the latest technological equipment would find the application in the global projects of OJSC «Gazprom”.
The General Director of GE Oil & Gas Claudio Materazzi committed that together with Close Co. "REPH», GE is able to offer innovative solutions in the realization of Shtokman project, underwater technology, gas transportation, LNG plants, and power projects. The cooperation between two companies involves further expanding of their production lines.Back to the news
